Collection 2026
Kanji draws its inspiration from the sinograms used in the Japanese writing system. These characters, which carry deep cultural and aesthetic significance, form one of the key pillars of Japanese visual culture. The chair’s design reflects the elegance of these sinograms — simple, deliberate strokes that together create an entire alphabet.
The most distinctive feature of the Kanji chair is the visual contrast between its side and front views. From the side, one perceives a robust structure supporting a slender seat and backrest; from the front, the chair reveals thin, graceful legs paired with a wide backrest.
Crafted with a solid ash wood frame and plywood surfaces, the Kanji chair is available in a range of colors.
Avoid using detergents and solvents containing alcohol, ammonia, or strong acids. To clean, use a microfiber cloth dampened with neutral detergent and water. Remove staining liquids immediately to prevent absorption into the surface. Always wipe the coating dry after cleaning.
